Your vote, your voice
Young people have the potential to make or break the result in Crewe and Nantwich, register to vote now.
There only two days left to make sure that you have a voice in this election. To find out how, visit:
I have made young people’s concerns a priority in my campaign. I’ve spoken to many students and young families on the doorsteps and it is clear they are all being held back by the Conservative government.
• Scrap tuition fees and reintroduce the maintenance grant
• Ban zero hour contracts
• Introduce a real Living Wage of at least £10 an hour for everyone over 18
• Implement a housing policy that provides affordable housing for tenants and first-time buyers
• Extend free childcare and offer additional subsidised childcare
To help students and young workers cope with the rising cost of living, Labour has also promised not to raise VAT, National Insurance or Income Tax for those earning less than £80,000 a year.
If you want a government that will invest in your future, vote for me on June 8th. Young people really can decide who will win the race in Crewe and Nantwich. You can’t afford not to have your say.
